The Revista de la Societat Catalana Química (Journal of the Catalan Society of Chemistry) was born in 2000 to become a means of communication among the members of the Society. First of all, the Revista  aims at conveying the agenda of the Society, such as Conferences, Exhibitions, Debates and Meetings. In second place, it publishes and broadcasts scientific research in any field of Chemistry. The Revista is published annually in Open Access.

The Revista is structured with the following sections an Editorial, a section conveying the agenda of the Catalan Society of Chemistry during the ongoing year, and a section on Catalan Chemists. Abroad, wherein we show the professional career in academy or industry of prominent Catalan chemists living outside Catalonia. Furthermore, the Revista nucleus consists of a series of articles written by renowed researchers spreading through the broad fields of Chemistry, including historical or artistic aspects. We wish to highlight the contributions carried out by young researchers who have been awarded by the Catalan Society of Chemistry with some ot the prizes during the Catalan Countries Young Researchers Meetings or for the best B. Sc. Grade Works.
